Hello everyone, this is Sharmaine and I am the hygienist at Compassionate Dental care since January 2023. I worked part time since July, 2022 and decided to stay with Dr. Mirza full time. Born and raised in North Carolina and I am an Army veteran and served in the National Guard for 9 years. I started in the dental field as a dental assistant graduating from ACC in 2012 and then I received my Associates degree in Dental Hygiene at GTCC in 2018. I have always been very passionate about dental hygiene and optimal oral health care that I decided to pursue more higher education and received my Bachelors in Dental Hygiene in 2021 from ODU, Norfolk, Virginia. I have been married for 9 years to my husband and have no children. I love to travel, exercise and go shopping in my spare time.

Hello, I am Lucero Rivera (Lucy), born and raised in Hight point, NC. I received my Dental Assistant certification at Sunrise school of Dental Assisting in January 2023. I enjoy working under Dr. Mirza, she’s helped me continue to learn more about the dental field and has provided me and the staff a safe working environment. My husband and I have been married for 6 years and have 2 children together. I love to spend my free time with my family and to travel during summer time to create beautiful memories together.

Hello, I am Maria Rosa but go by Rosa, born and raised in NC and My family is originally from Oaxaca, Mexico. I am a recent graduate of Sunrise School of Dental Assisting. I also have a CNA certificate and worked for some time after my high school but I loved dental field and wanted to start my career in it. Upon receiving my Dental Assisting certificate in January 2023, I have been working as a Dental assistant at Compassionate Dental Care. I am also very efficient in handling the front desk duties but love the clinical side more. I love travelling to explore new places and meeting new people and spend time with my family.

My name is Rachel Saucedo, I started my dental career when I was 17 as a DA1, during my time I also learned all about patient and treatment coordination, although I do enjoy the clinical area, I enjoy being able to help out patients to achieve and learn more about all there financial and insurance needs in the best way I can! Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, drawing, going out and overall exploring new things. I joined Dr. Mirza’s team Jan 2024, and I am eager and excited to continue to grow and learn more as time goes on!
